Youth Arrivals to Victoria: 2019-2020
In the 2019/20 financial year, 5,019 young people aged 12 to 24 years were granted a permanent or provisional visa to settle in Victoria under Australia’s Migration Programme across the family, skilled and humanitarian streams. Almost one in three (29%) young people settling in Australia during this period settled in Victoria. Around one in six (16%) of those settling in Victoria were aged between 12 and 24 years.
