Applying the National Youth Settlement Framework

The National Youth Settlement Framework (NYSF) was developed by the Multicultural Youth Advocacy Network (MYAN) using research and the voices of young people to discover the elements that add up to creating active citizens who have settled well into Australian society. The NYSF is an evidence-based guide to understand and respond to the needs of young people in their settlement journey.

CMY is offering a practical one-day training session on the NYSF using activities and case studies for staff to explore the guide.

This is a valuable professional development and networking opportunity for workers from a variety of sectors including youth and settlement.

In the forum, we will:

  • explore the National Youth Settlement Framework

  • hear young people talk about how using the framework helps their settlement process

  • discover how you can use the framework to enhance your practice.
