This training explores the essential skills and knowledge required for effective work with young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds.
The training is designed to be applicable across a broad range of sectors government, business, education, health, welfare, justice, and sports and recreation. It is for practitioners such as case managers, youth workers, social workers, volunteers and other front line staff as well as managers who work with young people from any community.
The training draws on CMY’s 25+ years of experience working with young people from diverse migrant and refugee backgrounds. Participants will improve their confidence and capacity to provide a culturally inclusive and responsive service for young people.
