Journalists and the Media

The Media Team at CMY is available to assist journalists with information on young people in Australia, particularly young people of refugee and migrant background, or those who are newly arrived to Australia.

We provide commentary on a wide range of youth issues including education, employment, youth justice, crime, racism and discrimation, settlement, mental health and sport.

CMY's advocacy work allows us to work closely with service providers and government, to influence policies and individual decisions that can impact on outcomes for young people. We regulalrly issue media releases, policy papers and other reports that provide an insight into the lives of young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds.
